The SC Chamber PAC Board uses the SC Chamber Legislative Scorecard to determine the candidates to support in contested races for South Carolina House and Senate seats. Candidates who are supported must have an SC Chamber score of at least 80%* as an incumbent, and dedication to pro-business, pro-growth policies as a non-incumbent. The PAC Board will support candidates in the General Election following the June 9th primary and any resulting run-off elections.
*A four-year average score is used where possible. If a legislator does not have a four-year average, we use an average of all available scores.
