STEM Teacher Professional Development Opportunities at The Citadel

The STEM Center of Excellence at The Citadel will host various opportunities for teachers to enhance their instruction of subjects this summer.

AP Chemistry Institute
Monday, June 12 – Friday, June 16
Cost: Free to SC teachers with the exception of $250 for overnight accommodations if needed; $1800 for optional 3-hour graduate credit. Out-of-state or private school teachers: $500 per course
 
This 45-hour institute will enhance the teaching of AP chemistry through in-person and online instruction. The participant will be responsible for housing and meals. For those needing overnight accommodations, dorm rooms at the College of Charleston will be available for approximately $60 a night. Improving Teacher Quality – Problem-Solving and Sense-Making for HS Mathematics Teachers
