On March 3rd and 4th, 2020, CCSD's Human Resources Recruitment Team, along with CCSD "Call Me Misters" and North Charleston High School faculty and students attended the Fourth Annual Clemson University Men of Color National Summit. 

The dynamic two-day event hosted by Clemson's Division of Inclusion and Equity had an impressive lineup of Keynote Speakers: NBA legend Earvin “Magic” Johnson, 82nd United States Attorney General Alberto Gonzales, host, American Ninja Warrior and former NFL player Akbar Gbaja-Biamila, and Peter Villegas, vice president of Latin Affairs Coca-Cola. 

The summit offered sessions networking opportunities that focused on the mission to close the opportunity gap for African-American and Hispanic males and develop clearer pathways to college for elementary, middle, and high school students.
